He originally created the DLG to trick out his party bike, the Soul Cycle, but soon noticed that cars cut him a wider berth when his DLG was glowing. The light tubes are made of unbreakable thermoplastic, so there's no glass to break. In fact, the DLG is suitable for off-road riding. The bright neon glow lasts for about 2.5 hours, after which you bring the rechargeable, Nickel-Metal Hydride battery inside for charging. The DLG's light tubes attach to your bicycle's downtube and to the chainstay with removable mounting clips. No zip ties are required. Charger and full mounting kit included. The DLG only adds a pound to your bike.
In low-light and no-light situations, the DLG does not substitute for a high-powered headlight. However, under street lights, it's the only light you'll need.
The DLG is available in two colors (Ice blue and Envy green) and in two models: single tube and dual tube. They both come with the same high-quality rechargeable battery. The single tube model has a simple installation and twice the 'glow time', but half the light output.
